010 Episode Ten – The Ethics of Love

Once we steer our thinking away from the notion that love is something innately ‘there’; or that it is something we ‘get’ from other people, or that it is something we choose by swiping left on Tinder or finding someone attractive at the bar.

Once we cut through all of that illusion, and realise that love is a state of mind which we can always, continually cultivate and develop, independently of whatever may be taking place in our lives– then we can all accomplish this most central task without any further delay. There is nothing in the way, other than the false view that it is somehow not possible or desirable to do this, to develop love in our mindstream.

And I am going to put it to you that it is certainly possible, and it is also certainly desirable.
